I think what Matt says rings true for any career choice.
You can't fear any career choice, you must attack them.
ALL jobs have up and down fluctuations, but as long as its a "day to day" industry
(meaning its not a fad like the pet rock) you should be able to find work.

i say attack your career decision, make sure your the best at it, and you will find work, and have a rewarding career!!

My 3.2 cents.
