Re: Official FG intervention,,TO ARMS BROTHERS! Boys - I'm sorry to point this out, but our brother Chris is lost. God only made us with enough blood in our bodies to run one head at a time......and we all know which one takes over.
Chris - I am going to pass on a piece of advice that my daddy gave me (10 years too late). We were sitting around having a beer and he looked at me and said: "Son, if there is one thing I learned in all these year...that's if it Flys, Floats, or F*#ks, you are better off renting it."
He doesn't follow that advice (Married over 50 years and always owned an airplane). Neither do I. It makes perfect sense, but then again - we only have enough blood to run one head at a time.
Good Luck Buddy - Welcome to the dark side.
To the rest of my brothers, we have been through several of the seven stages of grief with this:
1. Disbelief - "Fry is actually dating someone??? Yea right, don't worry, she will sober up soon. This will be one Tequilla night that will haunt her for a while."
2. Denial - "Huh??? He is still dating her. Can't be true."
3. Bargaining - This is the stage we are in right now. Come on Chris, help us out. It doesn't have to go any further.
4. Guilt - "If only we had been better friends." Followed shortly by, "HHMMM. wonder is I can buy his stuff on the cheap?" (Greed overcomes guilt everytime).
5. Depression - Picture this - sitting around the campfire at an IMAC event.
"Hey, you guys remember Chris Fry."
"Yea - great guy, sure do miss him."
"Yea, me too....but his plane flys good and I bought it for a steal cause he had to buy that diamond ring."
(Side note - Chris - think CZ for the engagement ring. The only time they get it appraised is during the divorce and then it is Hilarious!"
6. Anger - Chris is such a putz!!!
7. Acceptance - "Attention all Hucksters - BACHELOR PARTY!!!!!!!"
