i say i haven't laughed this hard in a long while!
guys, i've known chris for several years and when we were having the huckfest i go over to the impound tent where his dad was. i ask his dad, where's chris? thinking he was in the rv, possibly sick, or had too much to drink or what not. his dad looks me in the eye and says "he's went to meet his woman" and then he looks off in to space as to say "he has joined the dark side". i shake my head, say what the f**k and go about my business. to say that he needs to spend at least one eternity being razzed is an understatement. when my wife and i met many years ago, i told her that i can and will only have two loves in my life. one being my family, and another being my lifelong hobby. neither is greater than the other, for i love them with all of my heart. my wife has given me grief here and there, but she can ALWAYS count on where i'm at and that the kids are always safe. i have 5 kids and the younger 3 always go flying with me. in fact, they know on thursday it is practice day, friday morning is practice and then load the trailer. then pack their clothes and get their toy bags together. now remember this is a 3, 5, and 7 year old. my wife looks at them and tells me i have inplanted the special "flying gene" into them and that they are hooked. she learned early on that i WILL BE FLYING and unless someone is in the hospital that will not change. she knows at xmas to buy me plane stuff and not clothes. chris, i give this as friendly advice. and please take it as such. if your woman doesn't understand your hobby, then my friend she doesn't understand you. and anyone that gives up their hobby because of a woman; is giving up on their own life, and after time they resent that person for doing that to them. trust me i know, i've been divorced.lol so now after my long speech i now leave it in the capable hands of the marshall-greg morehead. i have known greg for probably 5 years and i can think of no greater person to instill what i have said. to greg i say, this young man has joined the dark side. it's time to let loose and bring him back to the light. later, toby
