Search EBay for Stika. They usually roll around at a fair rate. Seems a lot of people dive in with the Stika and either give up, or upgrade to something bigger.
For the money, I'll stick with the Stika and make it work. I'm just learning what the few shortcomings are, but for someone who wants to cut model graphics, I think they are perfect.
I got my first Stika SX8 for 250. Vinyl is relatively cheap. A good place to buy online is
