Thanks to everyone who gave me strength to get through the $hit. For those in the dark, I have been going through withdrawls from two years on methadone, from a pre-addiciton to Oxycontin, at a $400 /day habbit. Cold Turkey off of the highest legal limit of 150mgs per day, that AZ will give without a blood test. For the last six days I havent slept, have been to the ER, the Urgent Care, in an ambulance, and balled up on the shower floor. Felt like I was going to die. But I didn't. I couldn't of done it without any of you, family, and friends. Today is the first day in years I feel like myself again, and thats alot. Im still way sick, but I'll take sick over being on that crap, any day. I even worked on my Yak last night, and tried to sell my ex-wife on the swap shop. Seriously, I hope I could have helped just one person that any of you might know with addiction, and going 'cold turkey'. I honestly have been spinnng my wheels for three years, and now I am back. My kids are going to love it, cause its Disney, and Joe Nall, all summer long. Im going to pick up my boat that has been in storage for the two years, and have already found a 73' shovel head, ready to be put together. Not bad for one day, just hope I have the funds to pay for it all.
Just be careful with perscription meds, please. I have never smoked weed, or inhaled, or done street drugs...but two Dr. gave me Vicodin at the same time and POOF!!! Adict. I hope non think any less of me, but I understand if you do.
I know that an RC site is kind of an odd place to put up a post like this, but I couldn't find any, and I have looked and looked. I got sick of those other folks on INTERVENTION on A&E, getting better, and not me...and I have two boys to raise on my own, and a buisness to run. I love the layout of this site, and the folks on it. All have been great....except that french dude who wanted the Carden plans. You think Im an odd guy with a quicker wit, you havent seen $hit. My friend used to call me the brain, cause I would sit and calmly make up stuff to strippers for hours. Thanks again, and rock out with your cock out! Later
