Default Re: Classic 60s, 70s, 80s RC Birds?

Ok lets talk about the 80's. I was mostly pylon racing and then flying helicopters. My Q-500's wer kits by Spickler and powered with K&B .40s. Radio was a Kraft KP5C. No servo reversing, no throw adjustments no NOTHING. At the pinnicle of my Q-500 days I was flying a modded Scat Cat with a webra speed .40 a JR Apollo 4 channel and Novak servos.

My first Heli was a Shluter Heli boy with a webra .61 blackhead, Kraft KPS 15 servos and NO gyro ( they didn't have them yet ). As time progressed I moved up to a Shluter heli Star, GMP Competitor, GMP Legend. I was a GMP rep for a while and when they folded I started flying the reletivly new X-cell 60.
