[Rotary R/C]

Hi guys,

I’m new to planes and was looking at getting into large scale (?) aerobatics. I have a little TT Expo 3D foamie that I’m messing around with indoors to get the hang of planes (I have only ever flown heli’s, so this is a strange transition for me). I have been doing a lot time on the sim to get things started.

I plan on using my 6EX-H radio for the plane (works ok for the foamie, I will eventually upgrade). Here’s where I could use some advice: I’ll probably get the CMP Edge 540 (72”) because the cost of the airframe, uh, fuselage is pretty cheap and I expect to crash a couple of times, is this a good plane to start off with. It calls for 1.40/1.60 engine so I’m going to use a 26cc gasser instead, maybe a Fuji (seems a little heavy and underpowered though).

Any input would be great.
