I agree with the prevoius statement that larger planes are easier to fly.......however, I am also a big fan of electrics for the no mess, no noise and minimal hassle factor. I just finished building a Stevensaero Stella and it's hands down the most well thought out kit that I have ever built. I would highly recommend that you look at the Stevensaero line if you go the electric route. From the research I've done, the Stella, Groove, G-ride and Edge are all great kits. You can always set them up nose heavy with small control throws until you get more experience.
