Just FYI - Wayne has announced a judging school held in Augusta GA on March 3/4 2007. We will be graciously hosted by the Trenton Radio Control Association <
http://www.flytrca.org/> whose field we will be using for the Sunday's
Practical Judging session. The Judging School will be held at Double
Tree Augusta, in Augusta Georgia & we will be setting up a web-page
shortly with the reservations information for both the Hotel & also the
classes.
There will be two (2) segments in the classes on Saturday which will
have a "break-away" session for an Advanced class & the regular class
for participants who have not been to a Judging School previously. As
mentioned above, Sunday will entail practical judging experience in the
fine art of judging.
If you really want to hone your judging skills, this seminar would be the place to do it. I think Ty's concept was more of a flying seminar - trimming, working on geometry of figures, points deductions, etc. Ty, is that what you had in mind? Maybe post a tentative agenda?
