You have Air Force Reserve C-17's at Charleston AFB. You could try and get in touch with someone and start campeining. If you keep the grades up in college and have at least a private you would have a shot, and they pay for everything aviation wise. I to have heard the riddle is overated and over-priced especially when you consider the current job market.
