| It just amazes me, how much kids today want. | |

This makes me think of how things are around my home town right now. When I was in High School I was one of the lucky ones that actually had my own car at 16. The car was 10 years old had been wrecked three times before I got it. It was a real piece of chit. The only reason that I got that car was because when my father went to get a new car he could save money not using it as a trade in. Basically the car lot was going to charge him to take it. Most of the other kids that did have cars were in the same boat, old pieces of chit. You go by my old high school now and there are at least 80 cars parked there that cost over $30,000.
My car, I had to pay for all gas, repairs, insurance, and license. Kids today, a lot of them don't even have to come up with gas money. Mommy and Daddy just give it to them.
I still remember that car fondly. I can also remember working all weekend on it to keep it running so that I could drive to school on Monday morning. It gave me a real appreciation of what I had.
OK, off my soap box. Continue what you were doing.
