Re: Is it True ? I agree with fly what you want....but I also believe in cutting your teeth on the smaller stuff. If I see a newb trying to learn on a 35%er and making the typical newb mistakes with it.....I'll be pulling my stuff way back from the flight line.

10 year break from flying

Ucando .40.......I learned the most with this plane
25% GP Patty Wagstaff.....learned some hard lessons with this one.

Custom designed\custom built 35% Suk....still in the works.
There were some others in there as well....foamies..some other small electrics....speed planes....but I feel the best lessons learned were on the smaller stuff. I'm comfortable enough with the bigger stuff now that I can focus on learning a certain skill or move.
