As much as your going to hate it....a lot of viruses today like to hide in your system restore. That way when they are deleted from you system....the first thing they do upon reboot is reinstalled themselves. The best thing I can recommend is turning off system restore. I do it to any machine I build or repair. It's just one less place for them to hide.
