Got one with a BME 50 on it. It is the backup to my backup plane, so I dont fly it a lot, but I did fly it continuously a few summers ago when I lost the main plane. If you want 3d performance get all you can out of the elevator. I actually ended up extending the counter balances for waterfalls, etc.
Rudder has plenty of authority with the gas engine, will do a knife edge loop. Make it big though, I did smack one wing on top of a tree hanging in there going "you can do it""
Ailerons I honestly don't remember what kind of rates are on it. If I remember right they don't come in all the way to the fuse? So I would think on high rates you want a lot. I do remember that at speed it is very responsive to ailerons, as Extras usually are, so start slow.
