| Hey I got a Blade CP for Christmas.... Can anyone tell me anything about it? I never flew a heil before! | |

I got one for X-mas also, it's great for what it is, easy to fly, easy to maintain, inexpensive mildly aerobatic. I've looped, rolled and hovered inverted, stall turns and such are no proble. Flying backwards at slow speed. Mine has about 15 or so flights now, no problems exept the covering on the blades. I recovered mine in monokote. For upgrades, I swapped to the 9T pinion motor, 3 cell 1320 TP packs with deans conectors, heat syncs on both motors and have been using flat and symetrical blades. Just for flying around in the yard, the flats are very efficient and give good flight time, for aerobatics the symetrical blades make things work better. I plan to swap the tail motor for a direct drive system for better authority and maybe add the bell hiller blade grips, but that's about it, it's been a blast.
Other than the blade I'm flying a century hawk, no upgrades to speek of. I'm new to the heli thing (less than a month now) but it's a lot of fun. A budy let me fly his 90 size Fury the other day and it pretty much set the hook, gotta have one. They'll never replace planes for me, but still a ton of fun and a new challenge.
