| The 2.4 ghz Tx`s here in the UK are limited to 100 milliwatt output . However I have herd that the Specktrum sets in the U.S. are working on 300-400 milliwatt , is this true ? France has a limit to 10 milliwatt . I also see that one of our well known hobby stores here in the the UK are getting their Specktrum stuff from Horizon with the U.S. FCC mark on it and not the European CE mark on it .If this was the case then the operator would be liable in the event of a law suit . | |

As I understand it, you are correct about the liability of not having the CE mark. I am surprised they were allowed into the country. It is possible there was a declaration of conformity (DOC) document that shipped with them, but I believe there is a requirement for marking of the product as well.
I believe only a portion of the 2.4ghz band is limited power in France. There is a "France" switch on the radios for this reason, when switched they will avoid using the low power frequencies.
