Hi Dennis,
If you have any of the receiver pigtails from the PowerExpander plugged into the battery port on the receiver take it out. You should only plug the PowerExpander receiver connections into the servo ports. The power leads are also channels "A" and "H". The battery port on your receiver should be open. Let me know if you are still having problems after this.
