Default Re: New!! 150cc Yak 54 QB

Bodywerks: yeah I did not go and try to save a lot of weight but nothing extravegant either. The plane has all factory hardware except titanium links, all 5955tg's ( 2 on rudder ) w/fromeco batts( 2-4800 , 1-2400 ), smart-fly regulator & power expander, carbon prop, fiberglass spinner and pilot, DA 100 w/stock muffs - no smoke. doesn't need all that batt but they can go into a 40% later.

I understand its hard to keep production weights consistent as balsa grades vary constantly and balsa weight can vary with humidity also ( humid here in OK ).

I'm, sure I could kill a pound or so by going all carbon on tubes and gear.
