Scrap the e-flight mini funtana... their little 260 is a much better flier, but it also doesn't hover too well as it tends to torque continually so is not that great for learning real 3D on.
I'd recommend an Airfoilz Yak as your next step for a no hassle flier that has the ability to progress with you but is easy to repair with no coupling issues in flight. That's what I use for practice and it is great. See my video on you tube.
If you must have a balsa bird, the 45" extreme flight 300 would be great but a little more challenging than the airfoilz. I am getting the 58" Extreme flight Extra as a small field practice ship as it will be great when foamies are getting tossed around in the breeze. |
