I agree with everyone. I suggest you invest in the 50 size from the get go. Raptors are really good helis and will do pretty much anything. They're also a good beginner's machine and parts are affordable and easy to find. As soon as you can fly it around in a pattern, you're going to want to do more and more and realize that the 30 size is not enough. Start with a 50.

Good luck, helis are really a lot of fun! Can't wait till I can spare a couple bucks to get a T-rex 600 or similar. I got to the point where I could invert my Evo 30, then I sold it so I could afford this guy:
