It looks to me like you are assuming the signal from the receiver is a binary signal, 0V = 1 and 6V =0. This is not correct, it's not a go-nogo voltage type signal.

A servo output signal is a pulse which varies in length to command servo position. An on-off switch simply shifts the puls duration between something like 1.1ms to 1.9ms to signal full on or full off.

Your circuit will be switching on and off about 30 times per second.
