| These bearings seem to be a big problem.
Is this a O.S thing or is it always that way with engine bearings.
So then what about some good after market bearings. | |

I've heard of a lot of Hypers in the UK going through bearings quite quickly. I've got a 91 C-Spec and the rear bearing went after a year and then the replacement 91 SZ-H had the front bearing seize up after 8 months. Now, I'm not into 3D and both engines had not done a lot of work.
At the moment, I suspect it's an OS problem. But there are a few other factors to consider. Methanol and Nitromethane are hydroscopic, meaning they attract moisture. The UK is a wet place and I used to just drain the tank leaving fuel in the engine. I now run my engines dry after flying and. so far, have had no problems.
