Default Re: New 2.4GHZ RECEIVER NO NEED FOR POWER BOXES

I find it funny that a lot of you guys that are dead set against using a Power Expander, are all excited about these new rx's, which are basically set up to work like Power Expanders (a poorly designed one). You are basically agreeing that Power Expanders do improve performance, otherwise you wouldn't be interested in these new rx's.

The problem is, these new rx's have solved the problem of current flow into the rx, but still have a problem with current flow out of the rx due to only having one standard connector output on each channel. If you want to use 3 or 4 servos on a surface, and need to plug 3 or 4 servos into one standard plug output, you are severely limiting your current flow.

It's kind of like pouring water through a 2" PVC pipe, but you have a reductuion down to 1/2" diameter in the pipe toward the end of it. The water will start pouring into the pipe fine, but will slow down severely when it gets to the 1/2" reduction area (this is like using the new rx's with one standard output plug per channel). The water would flow much faster if the pipe were 2" the whole way (this is like using a Power Expander and not having any limitations on current flow).
