Go anywhere but Gore.. The old Man above can't work a computer but can catch a fish if you like that sort of thing... The majority of aeromodelling is done in either Dunedin or Christchurch in the South Island (which has the best scenery - and not as many bogans from Hamilton) or if you do want to visit the north island, probably Hamilton or Auckland? There are a lot of piper cubs in Hamilton but they drink the right beer... It depends what you really like... I don't know where the scale modellers hang out up there but if you like aerobatics Hamilton is probably your best bet... Otherwise come to Christchurch and we'll look after you
