I fly rates similar to Tony, except I fly a lower rudder rate. An easy way to set a lower rate rudder for snaps is to have just enough low rate rudder to maintain level flight in knife edge.

I use a flight condition with my Futaba's. I only switch rates for hammerheads and rolling circles, which basically is maxed out rudder.

I fly everything else in my snap rate, which is the same elevator and aileron rate Tony mentioned.
