Default Re: Tower Pro MG995 Servo's

cheers chaps,

X-JET -I'm in the UK (sort of) and cant find anyone that stocks the tower hobbies servos you mention, had a look on e-sharks but nothing there either.

I'm fairly new to this rc aero malarky so still trying to find my feet with everything thats on offer. I'm using Futaba 9255 in a t-rex 600 heli at the moment and they work a treat for my needs so I might look into getting some for the plane, but at 50GBP a pop they arnt cheap but from the limited time I have used them they do seem to do the job nicely.

I dont mind spending a bit extra for decent gear, i just dont want to buy something for such and such a price when I can buy others that will do the job just as well for less. I got some Spectrum servos that came with my DX7 radio but i dont think these are really up to the job.

The spec of these is as follows:

Type- Digital Hi-TorqueTorque:
72 oz/in @ 4.8v,
88 oz/in @6vSpeed:.19 sec/60 deg @ 4.8v, .15 sec/60 deg @ 6v
Dimensions (WxLxH):0.74"x1.50"x1.47"
Weight:1.5 oz
Bearing:Single Ball Bearing
Motor Type:3-pole ferriteGears:Composite
