I am wondering if I can use the spare Fromeco pin and flag switch I have on my smart fly super regulator in place of the fail safe slider switch. I will have to use an extension because the end is female and the reg requires a male. Can I; dudes ?
I do not want to ever have that slider switch shut off on me. I don't use them on my helis and feel very uneasy with it on my planes to.
But then again I do not want to be pulling my canopy off and putting it back on after every flight to power on and off. Kind of a pain.
I guess I am not following exactly how the fail switch works and if it is different than the pins function?
I know if the switch fails, power is routed around the switch so no power is loss to the rx. But will the current still be rerouted with the pin
?
