It is great to hear the intrest in this project. All the wood for this project has ben aquired, Balsa for the ribs, leading and trailing edges, and sheeting for center of wing. My dad and I cut 50 1/4x1/4x10' spruce stringers for the multiple spars. We still have a few things to get together, sanding blocks, razor blades, and glue. The plans should be printed next week, 200 square feet of paper to go thru the plotter. I hope everyone can find something to intrest them in this project even if its just standing around telling building stories about the one that got away. |
