Thank you for this post and information. I do not fly Futaba, and I am not rejoicing in the appearance of them having an issue. OK, that is out of the way.

This thread should become a poster board for how the Internet and problem resolution can take place.

1. There appears to have been an issue
2. The people with first hand experience tried to locate the solution and did not resort to shrill rhetoric. The proceeded with a logical approach.
3. The units were sent in for checkout and NPFed (No Problem Found) This was true under the test conditions.
4. Being observant and following a repeatable set of test conditions, the cause of the issue appears to have been found. With this information, the producer can confirm the issue (or not) and proceed to locate the true root cause and resolution.
5. The issue will be solved and everyone will benefit with minimal drama and in short order.


Things happen. As complexity increases, the chance for unexpected situations will increase. Looking for solutions, calmly and methodically, always works best.
