I guess it makes sense that (at least so far) you haven't seen problems in the air... there's probably plenty of air circulating through while flying. But I never imagined that it could get that hot inside the fuse without ever starting the engine.
I've got cans on my composite plane, with plenty of cooling slots under them, and after a landing, it gets pretty warm in the fuse... I'll have to keep an eye on this, and remember to cover the canopy when summer gets here.
