Hello dear FG members,
As title say this thread will be about Extreme flight 58inch Extra. Looong indoor season is over and now when weather is great its time for some outdoor hucking.
Naturally this will be not first review on this great plane on rc forums, but i will try to describe my setup and each (glow and electric) power system + and - , i hope some of you will find this information interesting and usseful. Ok lets start;
Few weeks ago i receive two boxes from Freestyle-rc (Mr.Daniel), both with same red/blue/white Extra's.
One kit was with EF power set, really powerfull Torque revolution motor and Airboss 80a ESC.
Not only planes from Extreme Flight is designed as piece of art, plane packing i also wery well done. Planes are protected from damage durring transportation, both planes come without a scratch.
Here is example what i have in mind by saying packing of plane is very important, take a look to pictures of my first EF plane Vanquish, United states post, Express mail sure did job well... testing construction of box and plane....
Half of box was wet and bend, but all plane parts was in perfect shape, also thanks good EF put each part to plastic bag, so no moisture can get to wooden parts.
Ok lets go back to Extra, as i told i get two planes, one for me and one for my friend Ricardas, he bought this plane because he already had good equipment (right size Hitec servos and OS62 4c engine) from one profile. And my plan was to build Electric extra powered by 5S lypo Flight Power packs.
I will build and compare both plane, flying performance, power weight of each power set + and - .
