The perfect CG allows me to position my batteries in about the center of the tray. The cutout and reinforcement for the rear mounted servo are already there, so it was a very easy thing to do.
Nice to hear such interest in really short time

I already build and flew my electric Extra 18 times, and i really like this plane, it almost fly same as my AFPD extra! With some more time for tuning it will be perfect plane for Artistic Aerobatic (F6A). Today i flew Extra in quite hot weather, ESC was mounted in place where manual suggested, after first flight i notice it become very hoot, it was not safe to make second flight, so i went to our workshop and place ESC under motor box with depron sheet glued to cowling for better cooling. Next flights was ok and ESC remain just slightly warm after 5;30min flight, (most harriers and hovering). But now I feel plane is to nose heavy, so i will have to figure out way how to get it back. I don't like idea putting rudder servo closer to tail because it increase tail inertia, and make flying not so pleasant....
I use Airtronic 94751 on rudder (about 80oz of torque), and i feel that rudder is not so powerful for my...(Just to be clear, Extra rudder is very effective and have more than enough power for regular flying and good 3d, but for my flying style (KE loops, aggressive snaps, etc..) i prefer to have more power on rudder on any plane). Maybe it is influence from to much indoor flying, i don't know...
First option i see is small SFG's on wingtips, other option suggested Mr.Chris, simply try stronger servos. If i put heavier and more powerful Hitec servo, i will solve both problems CG and torque on rudder, but probably i will lose precision? What you think guys?

Here are some shoots from today flying;

Touch down

Airbrush touch for better look, it take not so much time, but for sure give good results! Vanquish in background.

Isn't this a beuty?

Few words about my electric Extra setup;

Battery; Flight power EVO25 3700mah 5S packs, each of them is about 480-490g with connectors.
Motor; Torque Revolution.
Prop; APC-E 15x8.
Servos, Hitec 225mg on wings, Airtronic 94751 and HS 5245mg on elevator.
RTF weight is 2564g.

Such setup is crazy powerhouse! I never had plane with such power! Flight Power lypos are amazing, i set my thr curve on radio to 90 percents, and still i don't need to move stick all way up! And so far im only braking in batteries, tomorrow it will be 5th flights for all packs, so after 5th flight i will set timer for 7;30min instead of 5;30min. Right now after 5;30 quite hard 3D flight i have to charge pack about 2000mah, and packs affter flight are just little warm.
I also put white tape on side of battery to start marking (with marker short line on side of pack) each charging, so i will be able to know and share with you real numbers of cycles/flights i can make with top brand product.

Equipment placing. Notice 3 lines of velcro, it is necessary to attach pack really well for hard 3d flying, im not sure how much g this pane can handle, but im sure you get impressive numbers when you multiply G to battery weight!
