If the contest is not run by the rules, than you can make protest.
Another way to cure your own frustrations is, JOIN IMAC, it is only $20.00 year.
As far as scoring in the contest is: Firtst place pilot getts first place IMAC member or not. Only thing is that IMAC non member does not have his score counted for regional point series.
I also think that this unified regional point series rules are the best we have up to now.

I AM an IMAC member and I did read the rules on scoring and I did post, word for word, the way the rule was written pertaining to getting points for beating contestants. In simple terms, it says you get 5 points for every contestant you beat. It DOES NOT say that those pilots that you beat need to be IMAC members in order for you, the IMAC member, to get points for beating them. However, the way the points are showing up right now, we are only getting points for other IMAC members that I beat. Thankfully, we are only talking about 4-5 non-IMAC members right now and about 25 points for me.
It is really just an interesting topic of discussion for me at this point...
