1 Day IMAC Contest I want to ask - can an IMAC contest be conducted in a 1 day format vice the current 2 day format?
As a CD -
1 - I've thought about limiting the number of pilots to sign up
2 - Not offering classes unless there are 3 or more pilots (pilots can only move down to the next class if their class is canceled, however no points for them)
3 - Flying unknowns the first thing (they would be handed out at registration - the flying order is last pilot signed in is first pilot to fly unknowns in each class)
4 - Implementing strict timing requirements (starters will time pilots from the clearance to start engine, take off clearance, and from wheels in the well to in the box).
It seems very possible to start with unknowns, fly 3 known rounds, limit it to 25 pilots, begin at 9am sharp - end at 6pm sharp, and determine who was the best in each class by the end of the day.
Thank you for your comments and entertaining this idea. |
