I think that needs to stop and in doing so, some of these discussions / issues will go away.
Just as one example...
The SW region limits contest participation at some local events. No big deal until this year when we have changed the way regional points are tallied.
It would have been very easy to just say all contests except Clover and The Shootout (qualifying for slots or registration deadlines) are eligable for regional points.
I'm not picking on the SW Region on why they limit pilots.. Its just one example I came up with as to why all regions need to do things the same way. | |

If you want to get into pilot caps.........then you also need to get into rule avoidance (like pilot/dash, ACS, and Sound not being enforced at every contest).
Since IMAC is flown under the AMA rules of Scale Aerobatics and the CD's have the right to change the rules as long as AMA agrees.......its really in the AMA's hand. Don't let the CD's change the rules so easily. There is wording in the rules that states exceptions and waivers are granted when good reason is noted (like you can't fly the roller due to overflight of public property or safety due to field size). I have yet to see one good reason not to fly according to Pilot/Dash, ACS, Sound other than people just don't agree with enforcing it.
