Got a quick question that'll have a not-so-quick answer. I'm in the process of building a 12' Telemaster. This'll be my first plane over 8'. I have a concern on how to power the servos.

I have five CS-80 ultra-high-torque servos for the control surfaces - each aileron, each elevator half, and the rudder. All will be over-sized to make the plane a little more nimble. I'll probably have a DL-50 up front. I'm going to use a Spektrum AR6200 receiver, and I was planning to power the entire system (including ignition) with a pair of redundant 4100mah LiPos. My concern is passing what could be 5 amps or more through the receiver.

First, will direct connects work? If so, is it smart? Is it necessary to have the receiver connected to one of those power distribution boards, which in turn are connected to the servos?
