Default Re: 37% Ultimates

I just finished up the final install of the carbon fiber cannisters. Forgive my TIG welding, it was my first time. Next time I will "tack" it with the tig and then "silver" solder them together. It looks much nicer that way.

From talking to others, I know the header length is too long. My reason to the long length is that I can cut a little off till I find some sort of "resonance" to when the combo starts to sing.

Then I can find out if this thing will hold up. Just from observing what I saw from "cooking" them it should'nt be an issue. I baked them at 200 degrees for an hour and was able to remove them from the oven with my bare hands. They were very warm, but not scalding hot.

The next test will be tomorrow when I fire it up for the first time and see how the cans react.

BTW, I gained less than 10oz with the final install (w/clamps, coupler and mount). I will finalize that tomorrow.
