The QQ is a good plane, and at the sale price they are at now I would jump on one. If the QQ plane was not on sale, I would buy the SD yak and spend up the difference on CF landing gear and maybe a CF wingtube/stabtube set if you can afford it. I haven't bought one of the SD planes since Ace took over the distribution, but the craftsmanship on them previously was better (a lot better in my opinion) than the QQ planes. The covering on the QQ planes is better, but the woodwork underneath is better handsdown on SD. The cf wingtube only saves you 5 or 6 oz on the 50cc sized planes, the cf landing gear about the same. Most of the aluminum gear on the ARF's out of China are pretty soft and don't seem to hold up well so the landing gear may be a better investment. Good luck!
