Default Re: Southern Hemisphere, unite!

Victor,

I often say brilliant minds think alike. One of my ambitions is to light a fire under this hobby on the Southern Cone of the Americas and we have some wheels turning to do this already.

One of the biggest draw backs we all have that the guys on the northern continent dont suffer from quiet so much is distance. We are all a long way apart and its never too easy to get to the other guys neighbourhood. But we are working on it.

This week I formed a new company that will have its base in Chile but we will cover as much of Latin America and the southern continents as possible. We have been negotiating with some of the biggest names and companies to allow us to get planes and RC equipment down here at prices equal too or better than the USA can deliver us.

Its going to be a long hard haul and honestly it is not about making money. Quiet the opposte to be honest. We are commited to bring the IMAC competitions to Latin America in a big way. The top names are behind us. So what do we need.

We need communication. We need to see when and where all the big events are going to be held. Luckily airfares down this way are still reasonable if you book with lots of time in advance.

We want to bring people to your events and you to ours.

How does a South American IMAC championship sound every two years. Always in a different country.

What about a truly international challenge between Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, Argentina, Chile, Brazil, Columbia, Peru, and everyone else below the magic line.

I know its a dream but I am sure it can happen if we all think about it and come up with a way to do it.

Guys the world is an oyster, you just need to open it.
