| Re: Money Hmmm, I'm 19 and I've been in this hobby for 9 or so blissful years. I've always had to buy everything and I could never imagine owning even a 25%plane much less a gasser. I've designed a number of my own planes and I usually fly a junk-heap special. Lately, I've been able to fly nicer planes like a Kaos and Telemaster. Soon I will be flying a Funtana as well. I got caught up with the 3D craze and it's never left me. I learned 3D flying every plane I have.(none are designed for 3D) I did my first torq roll two years ago with my Telemaster.(trainer) I like encouraging folks(especially kids) to fly the most. I've done some instructing and I help everyone who wants help with anything. I was recently given a NIB Sig Somethin' Extra kit. I built it and gave it to a great kid who needed to go beyond his trainer.(I pimped the plane out and he was thrilled) Ya'll may get thrills out of flying the giants, but I get my thrills by watching kids get the Giant attitude. Don't get me wrong, I'd love to have a giant plane, but I enjoy helping others more than flying a pimped out plane. Now that you've read part of my book, my point is, money isn't everything. Giant planes aren't everything. For me, it's passing on this hobby and passion to others. (I also love hanging out here spreading my sick, twisted sense of humor and opinions.[if you haven't already noticed. lol ] ) 50%
