As I'm sure most of you are aware, the Futaba XFC is right around the corner and the XFC committee is pleased to announce that our own Matt Chapman and Michael Mancuso will be performing their high energy solo acts as well as their innovative formation act. If you've not seen Matt and Mike's shows, you're really missing something.
This year as well, we're adding a mass Hot Air Balloon launch in the am and evening as well as Skydivers and Air National Guard demos at the lunch break.
And don't forget! We've got some of the worlds best Freestyle pilots coming this year from across the pond, to battle against our own best of the US.
For more info and hotel lodging check out the new XFC site. www.xfc-rc.com (http://www.xfc-rc.com)

One important note that I'll add is the fact that Desert Aircraft has really stepped up this year and is sponsoring Matt's and Mike's airshows. Dave and all the crew at DA, have done wonders for helping out high profile events like the XFC, Tucson Aerobatic Shoot-out and the Masters. We need more support like this from manufacturer's in the hobby to keep the general public interest in our sport.

Frank, we need to "tag" Mike. Matt's already got a great nick name. Mike is missing one. Just not fair!

This was great news for Mancuo and me. We are both really excited about coming out to the XFC. We have both flown in Muncie at the Summer Heat Air Show and visited the AMA sight. This is is going to be one kick ass show! The hot air balloons, sky diving, full scale acro and formation! Does not get any better!...Oh wait...yes it does!...the best of the best of RC all in one place doing their best to kick up dirt with $8000 + masterpieces!
A big thanks to Dave J. at DA for sponsoring Mike and me. As all of you know, Dave makes one hell of a great engine and supports his product like no one else.
BIG NEWS!!!
I just signed a multi-year deal with Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University as my new sponsor. The yellow "splat CAP 580" is in the paint shop as I post this being "modified" to show off my sponsor. It will still be yellow, still some splats...but it's going to have a new look. Thisis just for the 07 season, then next year we'll be doing an all new, custom paint design for ERAU in the school colors.
Also, Great Planes just re-signed me today to continue our relationship. I really enjoy working with Don Anderson and Co. He puts out the best product on the market. Like DA, Great Planes stands behind every kit they produce. If it's not right when you get it, they fix it. fast, no questions asked!
Also, Great Planes announced today that they will be bring me back to the Joe Nall for a daily airshow at 5pm on W, T, F.
All good stuff!

The XFC is awesome, Frank and crew do a great job of putting it all together. The pilots are out of this world with talent!
Matt and Mike, all I can say is seeing your formation routine actually scares me! I have no idea how you get and stay that close!!!! I watch it every time, every second, great job.
See you there.
