With the success of Tony's build threads I was wandering if there would be a want for a new thread. I was thinking about making a thread on the setup in detail of my person Daltion 260 with a couple hundred flights. I was planning on taking many detailed pictures of servo installs and other things like rx's, batteries, motor, exaust, etc... Also maybe at the end include some in-flight pictures. Would there be enough want for a thread like this? I'm planning on possibly doing this next week and do the flying pictures and possibly a video if anyone wants any video of certain things next weekend. Let me know what types of pictures and information you would like to see if any. Thanks guy's.

Kelly.

Bring it on mate. That would be an excellent addition to what Tony has already done with the build.

Look forward to seeing it.

Okay, what is something you would like to see on the thread in particular?

Throws in inches, cg, things that needed attention.

I'll try and get mine too, and we'll have some comparison.

Would like to see a setup for 3-D and one for IMACC.The length of control horns on the servos and surfaces for each setup....How much ATV you run in your radio...Like DA2000 said, the throws in inches and degrees. All the good stuff.

I think this is a great idea. I bugged Daniel and Tony several times for info about setting up my 260. All of the setup recommendations they gave me took the guess work out of finishing my plane and saved me huge amounts of time. Besides some fine tuning with different mixes, I have been able to go out and concentrate on practicing in stead of sitting there trying to figure out what I need to change on my setup...Jonas

Would love to see a step-by-step process of electronics installation.
And perhaps a simple diagram that shows how its all wired, I still don't understand some of these setups.

Thanks for the suggestions and input guys. I'll start taking some pictures and working on it this weekend and make a few posts to get things started. I'll make the diagram and post some on motor/exhaust installation and start on the fuse setup. I'll be making a different thread by itself and would like to keep this one for suggestions and what not but feel free to ask quesitons on the other one when I make it. It'll be titled similarily.

Kelly, how about a listing of common preventative maintanance items you've had to keep you eyes on getting up to 200 flights? I've got about 5 flights on my new DA260 and this would be helpful along with all of the other suggestions. Thanks!

Luckily that list of preventative maint is very low but I will definetly do that. There are several things to watch out for on any 40% model. When I get home Friday I will start taking some pictures. I won't be able to get any of the plane together or of the wings until next week sometime. I'm still planning on doing some flight shots and shots of the airplane together and also fill any request's anyone might have. Let me know what else you all would like to see.

I have approx 120 flights on my Dalton 260, what a great airplane ! The things I've noticed are the 4 wing bolts, I back them up with a jam nut (had the right side wing bolts loosen up). I also developed a crack just ahead of the right stab in the sheeting on the fuselage (I believe caused by me standing behind and running up the airplane). I did back up the cross bracing with some tri stock and also beefed up the engine box a bit. Also watch the stab screws (leading edge) so that it also does not back out.
My next airplane, a Dalton 260!
