Can't get the photo to download.

I have a photo that I recieved in an email. It's in the wrong format to download because I can't get it to the MY PICTURES folder on my computer which automatically corrects the file.
I need help figuring out how to convert it.

there are alot of free file converters for download on the net.....i have 3 installed.....2 for videos. if its a bitmap....you need bmp to jpeg......if its gif....you need gif to jpeg.....read the files they will convert....before you download it.....(make sure u get the free version also)....unless u wanna pay for it. do a search for bmp to jpg..ot gif to jpg...whatever your case may be......just type it in..or use a google search. if that help email me the image.....i will convert for ya and send it back,,,,,with a link for a download of the proper converter. hope this helps you.
