I know its small for most of the people on here, but I do so love the P-6Es. I managed across a good deal on GPs version of the plane and have been assembling ideas to increase scale accuracy. Many of the things have been discussed in other forums on other sites.

The question I had, is if anyone has any documentation of the P-6E having just two red stripes between the insignias on the top wing? I can find no such pictures and think it was just a shortcut on their end. Right now my plan is to remove the two red stripes and put on the appropriate three, running between the two. In particularly I could not find two stripes on any with the snow owl race scheme.

Thanks for the help.

Cool - neat photo! I didn't know that. A friend has a P6-E with a 26cc evolution motor on it. They fly really nice!

Alot of the funky colors in WWI were for just that.

To tell friend from foe and for rookies to know the lead. Remember they didn't have radios back then, so visual was your only means.
