Is there any "Calendar" for IMAC events un the SW or do they just sort of "pop-up"?
Thanks in advance

Go to www.mini-iac.com (http://www.mini-iac.com). Go to the SW Region under the Regions tab and I think you will find everything you need.

Pretty much all of the IMAC events in AZ are done until Fall, but that will probably only be the Tucson Shootout, which is by qualification only, and then they may hold regionals here. If you want to attend any contests, you should plan to travel.
Where do you live? I am in Tucson and plan to make a trip to Albuquerque in June and possibly a long haul to Colorado in July. I have a trailer and am always up for a carpool gig to save some $$$

I'm in phoenix (north west peoria). I may take you up on that. I am just getting into it, so I don't plan on competing in anything this year, but yet just want to watch, help, pit-biotch, etc.
I will PM you my e-mail and you can send me something. What dates are the NM and CO events?
Thanks
John

I am flying right now on Tuesdays and Thursdays w/ Dan getting my planes dialed in. Once they are and I am comfortable I will start doing a lot more flying on Saturdays and maybe Wednesdays as I have time avail (no work).

There is now a Regional Championship contest in Mesa I think...Nov...I think. Check the IMAC web site. The Regionals are actually two events this year... Vegas and Arizona both...due to a lot of back and forth complaining by various pilots.

Not two regionals this year. Mesa is the last contest of the year so it makes it the reginal by default.:200:

I would really like to however we are heading to the moutains for July 4th weekend. I don't think I can get away from work on the friday before the contest to travel as well as the financial part of it. I will call you this weekend to talk. Are you flying at SVF this weekend?

Not that I know of. I was just asking Brad if he was flying this weekend. Then I remembered I can't fly this weekend anyways as it is my 20Yr. HS Reunion.:198:

There is no event this weekend at SVF. I am sure Brad will be there getting his new plane ready for San Diego.

Can't talk the caller into Albuquerque, she's more into San Diego. I was actually going to try to talk you guys into San Diego but then Benson told me about the NATS! Wish I was going!! You guys are going to have a blast!! I hear Goodwine is taking like 15 planes or something like that!
No, I bought a new 35% Aeroworks 260. TQ, helped me set it up and it flies sweeeeeeeett! Can't thank Tony enough!
Rob, give me a call this weekend anyway so I can tell you all about TQ's 2009 / 2010 comeback plans! I'm heading out to Newport Beach this weekend to fly at Blackstar, Norco and maybe Riverside with my brother.

B-rad, I won't be at the nats. I'd go to SD but I can't afford to do two contests this month. I am sorry you can't make albuquerque, it's a fun contest. I am glad you LOVE the new 260 - it really rocks, doesn't it?
