The Clover Creek IMAC Challenge is only a month away. 68 pilots from 5 IMAC Regions are coming to Toone, TN to enjoy Tina and John Schroder’s hospitality at the Clover Creek Aerodrome.
An OPEN IMAC Event will provide lunch Friday and Saturday to all registered pilots along with a Saturday night BBQ (a nominal fee for all others). Unknowns will be flown each day. For those of you eligible for the IMAC Senior Points Series there will be a Senior Division award. Freestyle will be flown in 2 separate Freestyle classes – Basic, Sportsman, Intermediate, and Advanced, Unlimited with awards for 1st, 2nd, & 3rd.
Please, while flying at Clover Creek Aerodrome we ask you utilize a catch bottle to retain you overflow fuel.
On site camping (no facilities) is available on a 20 acre well maintained field behind the flight line or primitive camping down by the river with a short walk to the swimming pool to cool off in evenings.
Come join our gracious host for a great 3 day IMAC event. Pilots meeting 730am Friday morning.

As you know Saturday night John and Tina are hosting a BBQ for all registered pilots. What we need to know is how many additional BBQ tickets each pilot will need to purchase for family, guest, and helpers?
Please email the number to me at gilrmajor@gmail.com (gilrmajor@gmail.com) so we can make sure no one misses out.
Tina asks - please bring pool & bath towels.
There will be open practice all week 10-6 as John needs to cut the grass each day.
Pilots, please remember your FUEL CATCH CANS so we do not kill the grass while fueling and moving our planes.
Pop-ups are welcome along the fence both sides of the hanger. No reservations required. Last year we had 60+ Pop-ups so there will be plenty of room.
Remember 2 Freestyle Classes – 6 Freestyle Awards – don’t forget your music and please update you registration on the IMAC site if you plan flying Freestyle.
730am PILOTS MEETING Friday morning. 8am Planes in the air.

I have recieved a few emails asking the same questions, and looking back through the post I have not provided the information very well. Here goes -
The contest entry fee for IMAC members will be $50, which includes the contest, lunch for registered pilots on Friday & Saturday, and a BBQ Saturday evening.
Guest tickets for the BBQ will be $20 for adults & $10 for kids.
There will be a food concession providing food and drinks during the day.
There is no Charge for Contestants to camp.
Don’t forget 730am pilot’s meeting Friday morning.

We're really psyched for this contest! One way or the other, I will have an engine in my plane that will allow me to present a "respectable" upline! We've heard so many good things about your place, we can't wait to get there!! See you soon!

I arrived at Clover Creek this afternoon. We have 6 pilots already signed in, all from central and south Florida.
The field is in great shape, but then what else would you expect.
John and Tina have out done themselves.
Remember - Open Practice daily from 10-6. We are signing everyone in as they arrive to hopefully make things easy on Friday morning.
Pilot's Meeting Friday Morning at 730am, airplanes in the air 8am.

I dropped to 2nd :211: :212: But ill take it. It my best finnish this year. I had it in the bag then couldnt finnish. I couldnt hold off Wes Batson, he flew really good the last day and i didnt. That plus he got to drop a bad unknown from day one when he had engine trouble. Leapfrogged me lol.

Thanz Tom.
Im really happy i went down , I got to meet some more people that i know of from the net and Im glad to say there wasnt any trama from the hottub seen... IMAC pilots are mighty pal with the shirts off. BSM and Mark Tina and John Schrodder were among some of the best peeps ( I may be to old to say that) to hang out with. There were countless numbers of people there that were a lot of fun to hang out with to many to name. I would love to do it again with any of them any time!
On a side note if you want a cheap thrill go on the grounds tour with BSM driving the gas powered vehicle of her choice! That place is huge and beautiful.
PS TY Danny for lending me those servos and a stab for my plane well worth the time we spent fixing the plane to get to this contest.

Joe Cutright was flying it. He and Micheal Abraira(sp?) had a mid air, but both airframes made it to the ground safely and both can be repaired to fly again.....

Cool just hang onto it, and when you are ready send us an email so I can invoice you for the tailwheel directly from paypal. We are not sophisticated enough to electronically accept the gift certificate.
