Hey guys, well its been about a week since the Tucson Shootout and I've been editing the video taken from my new camera like crazy. Attached is a video I made from the moments I thought were awesome. Congrats to the pilots, the sponsors, and everyone who was involved in putting this great contest together. Looking forward to next year already! Enjoy the HD video!!! :198:

Brian, great job ! I see you captured going up over Gates Pass, we went over that thing everyday going to the field, thats on heck of a hill isnt it !

Plankbone, I have done a little video and know how difficult and time consuming this video was to make. Creative also. I would guess you spent three or four hours to produce each minute of video.

What editing program did you use? Where did you get the fish eye lens? Where did you learn to post high def video on You Tube.

Great Job.

Great Job.

I used Sony Vegas to edit the video, bought the fisheye lens on ebay for $30 bucks, and posting HD is pretty simple.... if you render your edited film in the proper format, Youtube will take care of the rest. The videos I posted are moslty 1290x1080. If you need additional help, there are many useful videos on Youtube that explain how to do the HD upload. Hope this helps...... I'm starting to enjoy making videos as much as flying, just want I needed, another hobby.

Very cool video indeed.

I'm sitting here with about 2000 photos and six hours of video and really dont have the drive to start the editing yet. I wish Tucson was a 360 day event with 5 additional practice days.

Lets just say the withdrawal symptoms have not passed yet.

Oh, dam ha ha. I wish I had that problem. All i know was that I was super motivated to fly some gas when I got home to San Antonio!
