Default Striper vs. H9 ultimate

Man I am all Tied up with decisions. I have put off all fishing purchases over the last 5 years to concentrate on flying. I was a professional guide on the west coast for about 12 years, and have fished my entire life. I always knew that trying to divide my ambition between two hobbies was going to be a stretch. Course along the way I threw in all the responsibilities of grown up life. A wife , a child , houses cars etc etc. I have put off my new boat for years now. The only thing really holding me back is the H9 10-300. This really is the one plane I have got to get. I love it. It just really isn't all that practical for me at this time. I just want to make sure I have it before H9 takes it out of production. If I could just push the stupid button and get this thing ordered up , I could have it safely sitting in my garage and start working towards a deal on my new boat . Any of you guys out there with this same dilemma?

I mean trying to juggle mutiple passions? It just seems that i keep putting off things to buy "one " more plane. When will I have enough planes???????????

This is an everyday, well at least every week dilemma in my world. OK, what do I buy this week or do I save the extra cash toward a larger purchase.

Some times it more like,,,,,, do I eat tomorrow or do I get that kit I have had my eye on. (Not quite this bad, but you get the idea.)

I don't have this problem.

This RC addiction hit me so hard... I do nothing else.

Order of my life.

1) Family - (wife, kids, mortage, bills... everything to do with maintaining the family)
2) work
3) RC.

I don't go out to bars, I don't buy to much of anything else... Just RC.
If I'm not working or doing family stuff I'm on the Sim, or building a plane (or fixing one)

Wife and kids are in bed by 10pm, I'm in the shop from 10am - 1:30am everynight...
I haven't even wached TV for more than 45min at one time for the past 2 - 3 years.

At this point i'm not 100% sure its a healthy addiction, but I'm not going to jail because of it so I'm gonna hang in this obsessed state for a while.

From one deep addict to another... you gotta focus man... fishing will always be there,
your eyesight can weaken and you could probably still fish... but RC....
hehe... Get the Ultimate!!

My New Bass boat that I just had to have hasn't been in the water fore five months because of my RC addiction. Not only that, but I moved to Oklahoma from Virgina just to hang around with Sean Mcmurtry in the hopes of getting some pointers. So know I have TWO mortgages. You would think a fifty year old man would have more sense. What is it about model airplanes that is so addictive? Any way what ever it is there sure are a lot of wonderful people with this addiction. Welcome to the club!!

I want that garage

Look at it this way.....$6000 for the Ultimate or what, $30,000+ for the boat?

It's easy, get both and put the Ultimate on floats so you can enjoy them at the same time!

Nice to see that I'm not the only one who has it bad. Why is it that we spend weeks, if not months on a new project and just before it's finished you set your sights on the next one.

By the way that picuture of that garage full of models is absolutely awesome.

I believe a new addiction has been born.

Hello, my name is Dean and I'm an RC-Aholic
