Default It's not my fault!!!!

Okay,
Heres how it is.
After may hours toiling toiling toiling, putting up a nice pretty post & rail fence out the front of our suburban block. I decided to have a nice hot bath, beer inclusive & read the latest editions of Fly R/C & Airborne Magazine.
The wife decided to join me & read her magazines while we both kicked back & relaxed.
No Probs ay!!
My lovely wife decided the water wasent hot enough so proceeded to top it up with some more hot.
No Probs.
But she didnt check the level & said bath overflowed all over my LATEST unread copies of plane magazines.
Here's the thing. I instantly proceeded to dry my magazines with her towel (remember she over flowed the bath) & now i am paying!!!

Question

Was i wrong to use her towel to dry my plane magazines that she wet????

It's a toughy i know

Definately, best path of action would be to say " What an unfortunate accident, please pick me up replacements when you go shopping please" after all its nearly xmas, or ......................the other option is just sit there and

You are right, for some this is a toughy. For me, it was a no-brainer. I would have used her towel, then asked her to go get her hair dryer and have her finish drying them.

Gheese! Newlyweds.
Jamieman, you know there are no set rules for doin' whats right with women.
Once you think ya got it, the rules will change on ya.

Have another brewski and ponder the color and quantity of flowers it will take to open up those "love channels" again.

I think it was more the fact my wet plane magazines were more important than her dry towel.

Truth sucks i guess

Red face Re: It's not my fault!!!!

Rookies... Ya got to love em'.

You tell her that you too, were in the bath and you could have known that the water was about to overflow and it was at least half your fault it happened.

Then you tell her that you're sorry for being so inconsiderate by using HER towel to dry them off. Just tell her something like, "boy, what in the world was I ever thinking?"

Come on.. Be a man and cower down like the rest of us. It makes life a whole lot easier.
