Question Need advice on my first gasser

I`m just starting my first gas aerobatic plane, I have been flying 120 glow and 25% planes (giles 202, katana) but this will be my first 33%.
Hangar9 extra 330s
3w80xi CS
hitec 6425 on ailerons and elevator, futaba 9155 on rudder
Smartfly power expander sport with regulator, 3000 mAH dual battery
which will be the better prop?
I´m not planing to fly 3D, just sport and basic-sportsman IMAC, will this setup be enough to me because we are flying at 6000 feet high.

I think you will find the power at that altitude to be just ok, it will not be unlimited. Most 80s (including my 80CS) liked a 26x10 prop, but at your altitude I would try a PT 25x10 for more rpms.

Help! Re: Need advice on my first gasser

I´m finishing my Extra 330S, but I have some trouble with the engine.
The firewall was modified to install my 3W80 engine; I used a Supersonic mounting plate with 40 mm standoffs.
The carb opening is large enough for the entering air or I will need to open additional vent holes? There goes one wood plate over the opening.
I have the straight velocity stack and one manifold that goes mounted at 90 degrees, which one is better?
If I use the 90 degrees one it will be out of the engine box, it´s OK or could it be used inverted?

Use the straight stack. Quicker intake. Also if you are using a pitts pipe or can, cut off one inch of the stingers. Better transition and performance. Even if you wont be doing 3-D, its still free RPM's.

Last week I flew the extra. It flew great.
Used 26 x10 TBM prop and it has great performance
